Clinical psychologist [W:Carl Rogers] was embraced by several humanist leaders in the early 1960s. As one of several third force psychologists in the humanist movement, Rogers’s criticism of behavioristic psychology and the ideas of B. F. Skinner, specifically, sharply divided the movement into positivists and their opponents.
